Good morning, I'm Beth McIntyre. As a high school teacher at CLV I'm excited about today's workshop. My kids will be impressed as they know I'm NOT a techie! They are a bit upset w/ me as we had a poetry reading beatnik/coffee house scheduled today and I had to reschedule it to be here. I promised them the wait would be worth it!

If we would like to creat a Blog site for our students, do we go to blogspot.com to create?

Dear Anonymous,
Blogspot.com is a great place to start your own blog. There are many others but this is the one I use.

I feel that all of your students should have a computer. It seems to be working in the state of Maine. Does your school have a mobile lab? I can come in and do tech trainings with you and your class to help. I will try to bring a lab with me. Students don't need to have a computer they really just need access.

Mrs McIntyre. You can make your blog so that kids have to sign in. And you are able to remove what they wrote.

Mrs Huntington,

Yes it is something I can do. Check with your curriculum coordinator. I would love to do that. Plus, I think it is important.

Rick
