Good morning, I'm Beth McIntyre. As a high school teacher at CLV I'm excited about today's workshop. My kids will be impressed as they know I'm NOT a techie! They are a bit upset w/ me as we had a poetry reading beatnik/coffee house scheduled today and I had to reschedule it to be here. I promised them the wait would be worth it!
I am TroyAnne, a Sped teacher from Franklinville Jr/Sr high. I attended undergrad at Gsnnon U and graduate at Buff State. In my spare time(yeah right, who has spare time)I enjoy playing in the SCA. We re-enact medieval live. Quite a kick. I have been a tacher for around 20 years (suddenly feeling old) and playing in the SCA for 15 years. I am also addicted to computers. It's sickness bur I love it.

My name is Kelly Reynolds. I teach first grade at Prospect Elementary School in Salamanca. I not only teach in Salamanca, but live there as well. I have a daughter named Alyssa. I also have 2 cats, a dog, and a turtle, which makes for a very interesting household! P.S. Mrs. Hogan is my idol!!
I am Michael Martel, I teach Science, Math, and Programming for Hinsdale, but live in Olean. I also coach the JCC men's soccer team. My secret goal in life is to be all-knowing about technology like Rick and Tim C. On April 8th, I will have been married for ten years and I have three children.
Hi - my name is Katie. I live in Hamburg, I work at Pioneer High School in the 15:1 program. I teach 3 Sciences, Health, and Intro to Occupations to 9th-12th graders.
I feel that all of your students should have a computer. It seems to be working in the state of Maine. Does your school have a mobile lab? I can come in and do tech trainings with you and your class to help. I will try to bring a lab with me. Students don't need to have a computer they really just need access.
Mrs McIntyre. You can make your blog so that kids have to sign in. And you are able to remove what they wrote.

If we would like to creat a Blog site for our students, do we go to blogspot.com to create?
Dear Anonymous,
Blogspot.com is a great place to start your own blog. There are many others but this is the one I use.

Mrs Huntington,
Yes it is something I can do. Check with your curriculum coordinator. I would love to do that. Plus, I think it is important.
