Hello All! I work @ CA BOCES in the "Barn". My name is Lynn and I work with many school librarians and love the job! For me, an amazing day "in the library" was any opportunity that I had to work w/a classroom teacher and a class. Teaching library skills like the Dewey Decimal system is pretty boring but can be relevant and exciting when taught with content areas!
Hi! My name is Alicia, I teach pre kindergarten at Randolph Central School. As a pre kindergarten teacher, everyday I learn something new and find myself on a journey that I never expected. This has taught me to expect the unexpected and to go with the flow because each day is an new adventure.
I am Michele, currently the coordinator for our Reading First program. It has been a nice change of pace to get out of the classroom for a couple of years. I miss the relationships that are formed with students through the day to day experiences. I don't recall that there were amazing days in the classroom. There were amazing moments and those moments kept me going. There were moments of watching the lights come on, the dawning of realization, watching a child's day improve simply because the classroom was safe, constant, dependable. There are the lasting relationships that sustain into former students' adulthood.

My amazing days are varied because I am in a different classroom setting almost everyday. I get excited though, when a teacher I have been working with tries a new literacy concept with the kids and gets results. That is amazing and wonderful.
Hello, my anme is Debbie and I am a prekindergarten teacher in a public school system in Western New York. Everyday is an amazing day when you work with small (3 and 4 year olds) children. Everyday is an adventure for all of us and we learn so much from each other.
